Fat Removal Without Surgery

Amazingly, fat removal without surgery is now possible. One of the most exciting new procedures in medicine is a new method to remove fat but without the risks of an operation. This treatment is an alternative to liposuction for those who wish to get rid of unwanted fat deposits without surgery. The procedure works by using ultrasound to select and break open the walls of fat cells below the skin. As fat cells do not reproduce or divide, they are thus permanently eliminated.
The ultrasound procedure is performed at our LipoSculpt clinics in both London and Manchester. The treatment to remove fat is very simply carried out, as a “walk-in, walk-out” service. It requires no anaesthesia, operation, or sedation. The great majority of patients who come to lose fat without surgery describe little or no discomfort. After each ultrasound treatment, you can immediately resume your normal daily routine. There are 3-4 sessions to remove fat and there is no need for maintenance treatments. Clinical studies have shown great results, averaging about 2 inches off the waist with just 3 sessions of fat reduction. And not a knife or needle in sight!

Extensive research confirms that the UltraShape® Contour I™ system is the first non-invasive technology to produce a non-thermal focused acoustic field at a controlled subcutaneous target resulting in stable cavitation,” said Spencer Brown, PhD, Director of Research, Plastic Surgery Department at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, and member of the UltraShape Medical Advisory Board. “Histopathologist reviewed specimens of dermal and sub-dermal tissue, including subcutaneous fat, demonstrated selective fat cell destruction with preservation of surrounding critical structures such as skin, blood vessels, nerves and connective tissue. No epidermal or dermal changes were observed clinically or histologically.”
