We collect an email address if you subscribe and nothing else. No advertising tracking, no data sharing and no lead generation.

The short version

We collect an email address if you choose to subscribe, and nothing else. There is no advertising tracking on this site, no third-party analytics, no advertising cookies and no data broker relationship. We do not sell, rent or share subscriber data with anyone, and we never pass anything to a clinic, a surgeon or a provider, because we do not operate lead generation of any kind.

What we collect

If you subscribe: the email address you submit, the form it came from, the date, and the country code supplied by our content delivery network with the request. That is the entire record.

If you email us: whatever you choose to write, retained for as long as needed to deal with it.

If you simply read: our infrastructure provider processes ordinary request data such as IP address and user agent in order to serve the page and protect the service. We do not build profiles from it and we do not use it for advertising.

Why we hold it

To send you the newsletter you asked for, and to reply to you. Nothing else. The lawful basis is your consent for the newsletter, and our legitimate interest in responding to correspondence.

Who we share it with

Nobody, other than the infrastructure and email providers strictly necessary to store the address and send the newsletter. We do not share subscriber data with providers, advertisers, associations or any third party for marketing.

Newsletter sponsors receive no subscriber data. They buy a labelled block in the issue and nothing else, as set out at commercial terms.

Cookies

This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies. There is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you may ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, ask for it to be deleted, object to processing, or withdraw consent at any time. Unsubscribing removes your address from the list. To make any other request, write to privacy@liposculpt.co.uk and we will deal with it.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled a request, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.

How long we keep things

Subscriber addresses until you unsubscribe or ask for deletion. Correspondence for as long as needed to resolve the matter it concerns. We do not maintain archives of either for any other purpose.

A specific note on health information

Please do not send us clinical details, photographs of yourself or medical records. We are a publisher and we have no clinical role, we cannot assess anything, and we would rather not hold that information at all. Anything of that kind sent to us is deleted rather than filed.

No commercial links on this page

This article contains no affiliate links, no sponsored placement and no link to any clinic, hospital, surgeon, brand or commercial provider. Nobody paid for it, nobody previewed it and nobody outside the editorial team saw it before publication.

We name no surgeon, clinic or hospital anywhere in editorial, and we operate no lead generation into surgical procedures. Our commercial model is published in full, including the list of what we refuse at any price, at commercial terms.
